Module Basic - Introduction to SPSS Part I (Tue, Jan 23, from 12 to 1pm) - you will learn what SPSS is, how it works, how a dataset is sotred and how to enter data manually in it.

Module Basic - Introduction to SPSS Part II (Tue, Jan 30, from 12 to 1pm) - you will learn some basic data inspection tools: frequencies, crosstabs, sort, means and simple plots.

Module Intermediate - Reproducible Research in SPSS (Tue, Feb 06, from 12 to 1pm) - you will learn about reproducibility, why it is important, and how to use SPSS syntax to achieve it. No programming experience needed.

Module Intermediate - Basic Statistics (Tue, Feb 13, from 12 to 1pm) - you will learn what statistical inference means, and how to conduct basic tests in SPSS.

Module Advanced - Regression Analysis (Tue, Feb 20, from 12 to 1pm) - you will learn how to run linear and logistic regression models, things to pay attention and output interpretation.

Module Advanced - Mixed Models (Tue, Feb 27, from 12 to 1pm) - you will learn how to analyze longitudinal data with mixed model, how to choose a good model and how to interpret results.

Module Basic - Intro to R I (Wed Jan 24, from 12-1pm): you will learn what is R and RStudio and how to install it; RStudio project; R script and R markdown; R help; some R objects like data frame, list, character, etc.

Module Basic - Intro to R II (Wed Jan 31, from 12-1pm) you will learn data importing and some basic data inspection tools like tables, means and simple plots.

Module Intermediate - Basic Statistical Inference I (Wed Feb 07, from 12-1pm): you will learn about statistical inference concepts and run some examples of it in R.

Module Intermediate - Basic Statistical Inference II (Wed Feb 14, from 12-1pm): We will continue the previous workshop and go over basic univariate tests.

Module Advanced - Regression Analysis (Wed Feb 21, from 12-1pm): you will learn how to run linear and logistic regression models, things to pay attention and output interpretation.

Module Advanced - Mixed Models (Wed Feb 28, from 12-1pm): you will learn how to analyze longitudinal data with mixed model, how to choose a good model and how to interpret results.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. You can select the workshops you want to attend, it is not necessary to select all workshops (but see pre-requisites below).

2. Pre-requisite: none. That said, if you are attending the Advanced workshops (R or SPSS) we encorage you to attend the Intermediate workshop, in which we will discuss concepts of statistical inference (SPSS and R) and reproducible research (SPSS).

3. All workshops will be delivered remotely on Webex. The link and workshop material will be sent to you before each workshop.

4. You don't need to have access to R/SPSS to attend the workshops, but access will be needed if you want to do the assignments.

5. We will offer a certificate for those completing the two assignment in each module. There will be one certificate for each module.

6. After each module there will be office hours. At the office hours, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the assignments and material covered in the workshops.
